Research & Development
N-Pro has undergone comprehensive bench testing, simulated conditions-of-use tests, simulated aging tests, fatigue tests, biomechanical tests, three-dimensional finite element computational modelling, plus randomised controlled pre-clinical studies by independent experts and independent test laboratories. We have collaborated with several international partners and experts both to design tests and to examine the data generated.
The N-Pro rugby headguard is scientifically proven to provide significant impact protection. World Rugby have devised a new five-year Global Law Trial for headgear, designed to help reduce head injury risk. N-Pro is the first headguard to be approved for this trial by World Rugby and can be used in competitive games at all levels globally.
CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives. It is illegal to place any protective headgear on sale in the EEA without the relevant certification.
N-Pro has received Category II PPE certification from a European Notified Body and is legally approved to use the CE and UKCA mark.
